Fast Ratio Pitman and Idler Arm Kits

Proforged fast ratio pitman and idler arm kits are bolt in steering components designed to quicken your stock steering ratio from 16:1 to 12:1. These kits improve your stock steering from 3.5 turns to 2.75 turns lock to lock.

This quick ratio was previously found on rare factory AAR Cudas and T/A Challengers and is a more cost effective way of speeding up your steering without going to an expensive fast ratio steering box.

Each kit is made from forged heat treated housings and ball studs for rugged durability and black e-coated to prevent rust.

Kit includes: 1 Pitman arm and 1 Idler arm, including hardware as required.


Fits the following with 1 1/8" Pitman arm splines (which is standard before 1974) with power steering only (Note manual steering box cars can not use these, the box must be changed instead from a 24:1 to a 16:1 complete box, please enquire)

Fits:
- 1968-72 A-Body
- 1968-72 B-Body
- 1970-72 E-Body

NOTE: Designed to fit models with big block engine using Flo Tech, Hedman or Mopar Performance headers, or small black engines using Hooker or TTI headers. Will not fit models with HEMI engines.

May not work with some header combinations, will work with all stock cast exhaust manifolds.
