Zinc Anode is found in heavy duty applications to protect cooling systems from galvanic corrosion due to electrolysis or coolant additive failure/breakdown.
This simple component allows the electrolysis process to "eat" the zinc rather than the aluminium parts of your cooling system.
Designed to replace the drain petcock in your radiator, or any 1/4" NPT hole along the cooling system.
A must for Alloy heads or waterpumps.
